Anonymous 12.26.09 at 9:31 am: I paid a Law office $3000 in upfront fees to do a loan modification and they didn’t do anything. I gave them all the paperwork they asked for. 6 months later I found out that I am in foreclosure. They didn’t submit the paperwork until I told them I was in foreclosure. I kept on top of them, they said that they were talking with my lender the whole time. I am screwed.
