California Assemblymember Lieu Fighting For Mortgage Reform

(Sacramento) One California state lawmaker is fighting to reverse the mortgage meltdown. State Assemblymember Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) says its time for financial institutions that have been bailed out by taxpayer dollars to do more to keep struggling homeowners in their homes. A new law authored by Assemblymember Lieu will force lenders to run a comprehensive loan modification program or face a 90 day foreclosure moratorium.
